How to take care
Location: It’s all about the light
Calliope® is a sun-loving plant. To ensure its colors reveal their full intensity, choose a spot with at least 4 hours of direct sunlight per day. It will thrive just as well in terrace pots as it will in garden beds.
Watering: The right balance
Key tip: Ensure good drainage. Calliope® dislikes standing water. Let the topsoil dry out before watering again. To avoid disease, always water at the base—keep the leaves and blooms dry. For best results, water in the early morning or late evening.
Nutrition: Powering the bloom
Keep your Calliope® blooming brilliantly from April to October. Simply add liquid flowering plant fertilizer to your water every two weeks to give it the energy it needs.

Whether in garden beds, pots, or hanging baskets, place the root ball in a well-loosened hole, then simply fill and firm the soil around the base. Aim to plant in late April in a sheltered, sunny spot.
